Hey there Factorians! So we here at the shop tend to be pretty busy people. What can we say, we like for there to be things to do! Here is a list of some of the hot events that are coming to a Sneaker Factory near YOU!
Thursday October 13th, in the year of our Lord Anno Domino 2011- “Run and Chat With Mina Samuels”
Mina Samuels is author of the book “Run Like A Girl,” and has made appearances on the Today Show, and at running venues across the country. Mina will be leading our Thursday night group run, as well as a chat session afterward about her book, about running, and I believe being a girl! Come out and meet this great author and runner and have a great time at Sneaker Factory Long Branch, 40 Centennial Drive (but if you are using a GPS, type in 1 Chelsea Ave, Long Branch, NJ 07740), starting at 6:00P.M. and going until about 8.

The course continues on Saturday from 9am-5pm, a full day of natural fun! The free festivities will begin at 7 Friday evening and go until 9 with the book signing and natural running symposium. On Saturday the 29, a free natural running clinic will be held from 11am until 1pm. If you want to reserve a spot in the free clinics during these times by emailing endurance athlete extraordinaire, Geoff, firstname.lastname@example.org. The free clinics are separate from the Coaching Certification Course.
November 8th in Long Branch: An Evening with Marshall Ulrich, 6:00pm
Ultra-Runner and author of the ultra-marathon based book “Running on Empty: An Ultra-Marathon Runner’s Story of Love, Loss, and a Record Setting Run Across America,” Marshall Ulrich will be coming for a run and a book signing at the Long Branch store on November 8th starting at 6PM. We will start with a run through scenic Long Branch, and finish the evening off with a fireside chat with Ulrich himself. We will have some light refreshments afterward, but space is limited so we do need those interested in coming to RSVP to the Long Branch Manager Kelly, at Kelly@sneakerfactory.com.
A LOT of great stuff coming up, Sneaker Factorians! And we hope to see as many of you as possible out at the stores bright eyed and bushy tailed ready to learn a little more about our sport and maybe a little about LIFE.
This is Dr. Love, saying keep your eyes on the road and your hands up on the wheel!
